Bruins Rally With FOUR UNANSWERED GOALS To Take Game 1 Of The SCF!!!
The Bruins had a couple of PP opportunities in the first period but Marcus Johansson and Brad Marchand dented the post.
After a horrible first it wasn’t the start to the second the B’s wanted. But this team doesn’t quit and Cliffy Hockey got the B’s right back in it just 1:16 later.
From then on it was allllll Boston. With Oscar Sundqvist in the box for cross checking Connor Clifton, Charlie McAvoy tied the game at 2.
Chuckie Bright Lights baby. The Bruins put 18 SOG on Binnington in the 2nd, while the Blues had just 3 SOG. Couple of great chances but nothing to show for it. 2-2 after 2.
Brad Marchand added an empty netter with 2 minutes to go and that was all she wrote for Game 1 in Boston. Outside of the first period the Bruins dominated the Blues and rallied back for the win. Did not give the Blues an inch after going up 3-2.
FINAL: Boston 4, St. Louis 2
By far the funniest video of the night was Riggs getting noogied and YP just standing there letting his fellow Blues fan get dummied.

– Shitty start to the game was expected with the long layoff, allowing a 2 goal hole going forward isn’t wise, however. (No shit, Marina)
– Have a fucking game Connor Clifton. Cliffy Hockey is taking over and I for one am here for it. Great breakouts.
– Marcus Johansson was one of if not the best player on the ice tonight for the B’s. Had his legs going and was getting clean entries into the offensive zone. Couple posts for Mojo but liked his motor tonight. Turned a lot of nothing into something.
– Brutal turnover for Pastrnak on that Tarasenko goal. Woof.
– ENG for Marchand was huge. He didn’t look like himself in the first period at allllll. Started making plays and getting more comfortable as the game went on.
– Zdeno Chara blocked a shot and needed stitches after the game but he says he’s fine and good to go.
– 18 save performance from Tuukka Rask. Both goals were from guys who were wide open. Gotta clean it up defensively and limit turnovers.
– B’s went 1/5 on the PP, big goal from Charlie McAvoy to tie the game but still think the PP can be crisper.
– Torey Krug going no bucket and destroying Robert Thomas was my favorite part of the night.
